This sign I learned in the South: the non-dominant hand (and arm) is held like TREE (no movement, though) and the right-hand pinky is 'hooked' onto the 'pinky branch' of the tree. The dominant hand hangs from the branch by means of the hooked pinky. (The dominant hand is somewhat like an 'S'-hand, except that the pinky is extended and hooked.)The dominant hand can sway back and forth as it hangs.
