it should be signed from the waist and "throw" it out... from "HS-8, on the waist" to "HS-5, in out neutral waist-level space"

Did we drop the US sign for Australia where the open right hand sweeps up from near the right temple to slighly over and to the back of the head, representing the upturned brim of the Australian Outback hat? That is the sign I learned many many years ago.
