Could this be used to say "The coals glow with heat," "the children cheer with joy," etc? If not, what sign could be used?
Could it be used also to say "I write with a pencil," "I study with/by way of/using books," etc? If not, what sign could be used?

Thank you!

One might say "Coals glow from heat" or "Coals glow because heat". ASL is a language not always translated into exact English. It is it's OWN language.

One might say "Children cheer because joy (joyous)", and "I write use pencil". "I study use books" is another example.

ASL also varies according to where you live, just like people in different neighborhoods have different accents.

Ask deaf persons in your area.
