Ya, I agree that the stepping up is NOT part of the sign. I the beggining, he is standing, and stepping on a stool or something. You may not have the stool handy when you sign diaper. He also steps up for underwear and version number 2 of zip/zipper. So dont worry I think it is just for video purposes. BUt to make sure, you can go to the FAQ page and emial the guy. He is pretty quick at getting back to you.
