That is the correct sign. It looks a lot like "boss", but "boss" ends with the tap staying on the shoulder. "Outside" ends with the hands moving toward the outside. Usually it is a bigger, more sweeping movement, like your hand is moving from your signing space to outside somewhere. Hope that helps :)

yes this is the correct sign for "outside".. Keep in mind just like English some concepts share the same word like tear and tear.
