What does membership provide?

Signing Savvy membership provides unrestricted, full access to all Signing Savvy features. In addition to SEEING NO ADS and unlimited access to the full member features (such as seeing example sentences signed, use of our mobile apps, the ability to create word lists, practice through digital flash cards and quizzes, sign descriptions, memory aids, access to all the articles, etc.), purchasing membership helps us continue to add more sign videos, content, and features to the site. Why is there a cost for membership?

We hope that those that love to use Signing Savvy and want to take advantage of the member features would become full members in order to help support us. We would not be able to offer these features and maintain them (or even have the Signing Savvy website) without charging for membership. There is a cost to creating, maintaining, and growing the website - equipment, software, hardware, hosting, and labor costs. We're always working to improve Signing Savvy, add to our content, and enhance our features - our work is never done!

We offer free access to some features.

We are passionate about sign language education and increasing communication through the use of sign language. Anyone can visit the Signing Savvy website or create a Registered Guest account for free (we do not ask for any credit card information when you sign up for a free Registered Guest Account). We offer free access to our signs and some other features because we want everyone to have access to learn sign language.

Public access is partially supported by ads.  If you are not a Signing Savvy member, you should be able to watch 3 sign videos per day before video ads are displayed. If you don’t want to see any ads ever, you can become a Signing Savvy member to have all ads turned off (both video ads and banner/sidebar ads).

If you can’t afford membership at this time, please continue to use the free features of Signing Savvy, consider becoming a member in the future, put membership on your holiday wish list, and help spread the word by recommending Signing Savvy to others. We have a recommendation program and graphic links you can use to link to us to potentially earn free membership.

Whether you lack local resources where you can meet and sign with others, like the convenience of online sessions to better match your schedule, or want to work with a signing expert who can create a session that best meets your goals and objectives — we are here to help! We offer one-on-one tutoring or chats sessions with one of our signing experts.
