Sorry...mabye dumb question.  What is the difference between this "fraud" "cheat (on a test) (at a game)" and relationship cheating.  I have seen this word (reference to relationship cheating)  done with that flat right hand fingers to the flat left palm .   Is this also correct?

response to cheating

Hello Jacy,

Sorry for the delay.  I guess I am not really sure the sign you are talking about but I will bring your question to others on our sign language board and see what their thoughts are,...stay tuned.

Shouldn't the version with the dominant hand sliding down the upraised arm of the non-dominant hand be included here?  The one that suggests something in the sleeve.

do you mean STEAL??

Are you referring to the sign for STEAL?  Other than that, I'm not familiar with the other sign you are referring to.  There are such thing as regional signs, meaning there may be a sign used in your area that I am not familar with or isn't widely used throughout the country.

Nope, different sign

Here's an example, although I have only seen this with two fingers dominant and a flat or fisted hand on the passive hand:

The hand slides down the arm, as though tucking something into a sleeve.  I don't think it's regional - both of my ASL teachers have taught it, and they are from different parts of the country.
