Question: When signing "close the door," do you repeat the movements?  I understand that the signs are slightly different; or are they?

Would the same answer apply to "open the door?"

Hello, I think if you just make it clear and put more emphasis on the fact that the door is closed, your meaning should be clear without having to repeat the sign.  You can also always sign FINISH after which would also show that the door is closed.
