I have seen 'student' two ways. This and another where it is the "to learn" then the hand going up touches the forehead both with and without the person marker.

Is this another example of dialects?

Another way to sign this is with "study" + "person".

My question is complicated.

The examples using signs for STUDENT and TEACHER uses a verb in addition to an Agent marker. There seems to be a grey area of defination when comparing the employment of compounds, agent markers and multimorphemic-signs.

To make a long question short, which of these linguistic definations would explain these signs? Is an agent marker consided to be a separate defination?

Thank you!
