Word List Author Note: There are "local signs" for COMPUTER. In Mississippi, the C-hand is in front of the forehead (palm toward Non-Dom side), and the C 'bounces' at the wrist. In Louisiana, the C-hand moves up the Non-Dom arm with the thumb (of the C-hand) brushing against the arm near the wrist and again near the elbow. Bravo's second sign for COMPUTER is very clear: index fingers outline a monitor, then sign TYPING.
