Word List Author Note: Two arcs forward with a firm 5-hand. This is how Dr. B and Signing Savvy and ASL University (ASLU) sign it. Strangely, Dr. B has seen two online sources that use a single arc for GRANDMOTHER and GRANDFATHER. Dr. B learned that two arcs are for 2 generations. A third arc is for 'great-grandparent' and a fourth is for 'great-great...", etc. Whatever, adding a forward movement to the sign MOTHER will change it to GRANDMOTHER.
