Sign Word List: ASL University, Lesson 3 - Dr. B
Word 51 of 65

Word List Author Note: Dr. B uses this sign for THINK (single movement to the temple) for the noun "thought." The other sign (for BRAIN/MIND) are accurate, but Dr. Vicars might use the same sign (THINK) to also mean "brain" and "mine." However, Dr. B considers "THINK" to be an active verb, and uses a circular motion at the temple (See the Note for "Think About"). Others signers use this 'circular' sign only for the 'deeper thinking' (the gloss-words shown). These other signers sign THINK by simply touching the index fingertip of the 1-handshape to the temple, as shown here.

THINK, BRAIN, MIND
