Word List Author Note: An airport is where planes land and take off. To sign AIRPORT, use the AIRPLANE sign (dominant hand). It 'takes off' from the upturned open non-dom hand, or it 'lands' on the upturned non-dom hand (moving in from the far dominant side). Either sign can be used for AIRPORT. They also show the verbs/concepts for AIRPLANE-TAKEOFF (p. 252) and LAND-AIRPLANE (p. 257), respectively. AIRPLANE is on pp. 252-254.
