The desciption of this sign is that it is an initialized sign. An initialized sign obviously comes from some root sign and might have other initialized signs stemming from that same root. Could you list the base sign and other sign members of the sign family. This will better connect the historical development of the sign. Sign families would be like king, queen, prince, royal or church, temple.

Hi Amy, I agree many initialized signs can be traced to a root sign (eg science: biology, chemistry) but unfortunately library isn't one of them. It just is what it is. ;-)  BC
