Note this is only the sign for the WH-question word. Not, for example: "WHEN you go to the store, please buy me some milk." In that context (not a WH-question word) the appropriate sign is HAPPEN.

A good point was made concerning the sign "WHEN". When this sign is not used as a question, how would the following example be glossed from English to ASL?

"When you go to the store, please buy me some milk."

Thanks for that bit of info Zachary. I knew that this sign was only for wh-questions but I didn't know what sign to use in non-question contexts. Now I do.
