This book is a beautiful way for two young boys from very different parts of the world to look at, share and compare their worlds. In doing so through simple everyday experiences, the boys find that even though their lives are very different, they are also very similar. This book opens the doors for discussions with students about differences and similarities amongst students. The illustrations alone show stark visual contrasts in cultures. This book has also won the Ezra Jack Keats Book Award.
